This year I relocated to Wanganui, having achieved a Bachelor of Optometry with Honours at the University of Auckland. Over the past few years many from Auckland have relocated to the Lower North, with a preference for a quieter lifestyle. I’m very pleased to have become one of them. I enjoy the friendly community spirit of a small town, and the established café culture we have.
I have always enjoyed interacting with people, and have found Optometry a great outlet for problem solving and communication. My role here covers many sub-specialties including dry eye, low vision and medical eyecare. I love the challenges and successes associated with having a large scope of care.
I’ve always enjoyed music and have a passion for singing. I also love to travel; both across New Zealand and further afield. I’m always excited to immerse myself in a new city and culture. My relocation to the Lower North presents a great opportunity to explore rural New Zealand!
